  If the TV Remote Repeater function isn't working on your Yamaha Surround system, first ensure that the function is enabled. If the TV remote uses non-infrared signals, this function won't work; adjust the sound bar's position to avoid blocking the TV's remote sensor. Also, ensure the sound bar and TV aren't too close or far apart (maintain a distance of more than 50 mm). Finally, check for any obstacles between the sound bar and TV and remove them.

  If there's no sound from the subwoofer of your Yamaha Surround system, first check if the subwoofer volume is set too low and increase it. Also, the playback source might not contain low-frequency signals. Finally, the subwoofer setting might be incorrect; with the sound bar turned off, hold down the SUBWOOFER key (+ or -) on the remote control for more than 5 seconds to switch the subwoofer setting.

  The auto-sleep function may be enabled. The sound bar will automatically turn off after 8 hours of no operations or after 30 minutes of no audio input and no operations. If the internal microcomputer is frozen, due to an external electric shock or to a drop in the power supply voltage, hold down (power) on the front panel of the sound bar for more than 10 seconds to reboot it. If the problem persists, disconnect the power cable from the AC wall outlet and plug it again.

  If the Yamaha sound bar isn't learning TV remote control operations, ensure that you hold down the remote control key for more than 1 second, two or three times. If the TV remote uses non-infrared signals, this function won't work; use the supplied remote. Operate the TV remote at the appropriate position. Replace the batteries in the TV remote if they are weak. Adjust the lighting to avoid direct sunlight on the sound bar's sensor. Also, turn off the TV and try the learning operation again to avoid interference from the TV screen light.
