PRE-OPERATION CHECKS
Fuel
Fill the fuel tank with unleaded gasoline.
Fuel tank capacity:
EF14QQI 5.0 lit/1.3 US gal/1.1 IMPgal
6.5 lit/1.7 US gal/1.4 IMP gal
10.0 lit/2.6 US gal/2.2 IMP gal
WARNING:
• When refilling the fuel tank, be sure to
stop the engine and take care not to spill
gasoline.
Wipe off any spilt gasoline quickly, or it
could catch fire, thus causing an explo¬
sion.
• Avoid overfilling the gas tank.
• After filling, replace the tank filler cap
and screw it in until tight.
• For refilling, select a well-ventilated
place.
CAUTION:
♦ Don't use pre-mixed gas and oil in this
engine.
• Be careful that no impurities enter the fuel
tank.
Engine oil
Remove the oil filler cap and fill the engine with oil
to the upper level line.

: 500cc/0.53 US qt/0.44 IMP qt
: 680 cc/0.72 US qt/0.60 IMP qt
: 950 cc/1.00 US qt/0.84 IMP qt
Recommended oil:
4 stroke engine oil
Over 15°C(60°F)
- SAE #30
Below 15°C<60°F)
- SAE #20
