Assembling the KP100

Main Unit Assembly

Attach the base to the main body using provided bolts and washers, do not fully tighten yet.

Foot Pedal Attachment

Connect the foot pedal, adjust for vertical pad surface and stability, then tighten bolts.

Pedal and Beater Adjustment

Position the pedal and adjust beater shaft length for central kick pad impact.

Making Connections

Connecting to Tone Generator Module

Connect KP100 OUTPUT to a DTX Series tone generator module using a stereo phone cable.

Connecting an Optional Pad

Use the PAD INPUT jack to add an additional mono pad, connecting its trigger output.

Adjusting the Output Level
