Cover the crankcase
with
a cloth, and remove the piston clip
with
a screwing motion.
9.
Push
out
the piston pin, and remove the piston.
(Take
care
not
to
drop the small end bearings.)
10.
Check
the piston, piston rings and cylinder wall
for
scratches and
high spots.
High spots
are
bright,
and
should
be
smoothed
out
with
oil stone
or
fine
sandpapaer.
11.
If
any piston ring
is
found stuck
or
scratched,
it
should
be
re-
placed.
