  If your Yamaha Musical Instrument has no sound, there might be several reasons: * The volume controls or foot volume might be turned down. Ensure that the master volume, mixing console part volume controls, and foot volume are set to a reasonable listening level. * Headphones might be plugged into the PHONES jack. Unplug them. * A plug might be inserted in the LOOP SEND jacks. Unplug the LOOP SEND jacks. * The FADE OUT switch might be on. Press the FADE IN/OUT switch so that its indicator goes out. * MIDI local control might be turned OFF. Turn MIDI local control ON using the appropriate F9 MIDI function.

  If some notes do not sound or are prematurely cut off on your Yamaha Musical Instrument, it may be because the maximum polyphony has been exceeded. You can play up to 64 notes at the same time—including auto-accompaniment, song playback, multi pad notes etc.. Notes exceeding this limit will not sound.
