Fuel petcock
The fuel petcock act as a valve between the
tank and the carburetor and also filters the
fuel.
The fuel petcock has the following three
positions:
RES:
This indicates reserve. If you run out
of fuel while driving, move the lever to
this position. Then, fill the tank at the
first opportunity.
OFF:
With the lever in this position fuel wiM
not flow. Return the lever to this
posi-
tion when the engine is not running.
ON:
With the lever in this position fuel
flows to the carburetor. Normal driv-
ing is done with the lever in this Posi-
tion.
