CLEANING AND CARE
Warning
Turn off the machine and let it cool before cleaning.
Do not clean the machine with abrasive products or
solvents. Do not immerse the machine in water or
other liquid, or put it under running water.
/ Clean the outer surfaces of the product with a
slightly damp cloth and then dry them completely.
/ Wash all parts, except the main unit, before using
them for the first time.
/ Ensure that water does not infiltrate into the
machine (e.g. via the switch).
/ The contact points of the mixing bowl with the food
processor should always be clean and dry.
/ Be especially careful when removing the blade from
the mixing bowl, as it is very sharp. Always hold the
blade from the top or use a cloth when removing or
replacing the glass.
/ All of the processor's components and acces-
sories (except the main unit) can be washed
in a dishwasher. However, it is highly recom-
mended not to leave them for a long time
in the dishwasher after finishing the washing cycle.
/ The mixing bowl may accumulate water at its dock-
ing base after washing. To remove the accumulated
water, just gently shake the bowl and then leave it
to dry naturally with the base turned upwards.
/ To easily clean all the accessories and reduce the risk
of damage, always rinse immediately to remove
food damage.
/ The main unit can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
However, use as little water as possible and wring
the cloth, to prevent humidity from entering the
inside of the machine.
/ Clean the rubber sealing ring inside the lid after
each use.
/ Dry all components and accessories of the mixing
bowl thoroughly after each clean.
/ Clean the cavity of the main unit with a damp cloth
and dry it well.
/ To remove and clean food residue that is stuck to
the mixing bowl or pan, use a suitable cleaning
product for stainless steel.
/ During cleaning always take great care with the
blades, because they are very sharp.
/ We do not recommend frequent washing of the
blades in the dishwasher, as this accelerates the
wear of the cutting edges.
/ To clean the steam tray and the cooking
basket, wash them thoroughly with warm
water and a suitable detergent, or in a dish-
washer. To wipe clean, use a soft cloth and
a mild detergent.
/ Avoid sharp objects or metal sponges, which can
scratch the coating of the processor and its acces-
sories.
/ When the mixing bowl with the blade, the lid and
measuring cup are slightly dirty, you can carry out
a quick cleaning process: put about 1 litre of water
and some detergent drops in the mixing bowl and
then select speed 5 or 6. After this operation, care-
fully rinse with water and use, if necessary, a soft
cloth.
/ Never sterilise the mixing bowl or pan or any acces-
sory of the food processor in a steriliser or microwave.
/ Some foods may stain the parts of the food
processor. You are recommended to remove these
substances as quickly as possible. Any stain will fade
with time and does not affect the quality nor the
correct operation of the food processor.
