Wear safety glasses, proper apparel, and handle fuel with care.

Avoid enclosed areas, keep hands clear of moving parts, stop engine before inspection.

Disconnect spark plug wire before servicing and allow machine to cool.

Remove unit from carton and gather required assembly tools.

Secure the chute deflector using hand knobs, washers, and hex bolts.

Place the bag over the chute deflector and secure it with the drawstring.

Familiarize yourself with the location of controls and parts before operating.

Identify and understand the function of the release handle, choke, starter, and throttle.

Place on level surface, connect spark plug wire, service with fuel/oil, and open valve.

Move throttle to STOP, disconnect spark plug wire, and close fuel valve.

Feed leaves/small branches (1/2" dia.) into raised hopper or lowered assembly.

Feed stalks and branches up to 3" diameter into the chipper chute.

Lubricate pivot points, clean engine, cooling system, and rinse the shredder.

Refer to engine manual for oil, air cleaner service, and spark plug recommendations.

Remove and clean the flail screen if the discharge area becomes clogged.

Remove flail screen, chipper chute, and blades for sharpening or replacement.

Lower hopper, remove assembly, and replace the shredding blade.

Reverse flails when dull, adjust carburetor if needed, ensure clean air cleaner.

Clean, lubricate, and store unit in a dry area away from corrosive materials.

Check spark plug, fuel, choke, and air cleaner for starting and power loss.

Address engine overheating, low oil level, and excessive vibration.

Clear clogged discharge, remove foreign objects, check blade sharpness.

Covers defects for two years; normal wear parts for 90 days.
