Why does my YARDMAX YC1160 Construction Equipment engine fail to start?
    • L
      Leah DuncanAug 6, 2025
Your YARDMAX Construction Equipment engine might fail to start due to several reasons: * The spark plug wire may be disconnected, in which case you should attach it securely to the spark plug. * You may be out of fuel or using stale fuel, so fill the equipment with clean, fresh gasoline. * The throttle control lever might not be in the correct starting position, so move it to the start position. * The choke may not be in the ON position; for a cold start, position the throttle at choke. * There could be a blocked fuel line, so clean it. * The spark plug could be fouled, so clean, adjust the gap, or replace it. * The engine might be flooded; wait a few minutes to restart, but do not prime.
