1 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
This YardWorks product is guaranteed for one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase
against defects in materials and workmanship.
Subject to the conditions and limitations described below, this product, if returned to us with proof
of purchase within the stated warranty period, and if covered under this warranty, will be repaired
or replaced (with the same model or one of equal value or specication) at our discretion. We will
bear the cost of any repair or replacement and any related labour.
THESE WARRANTIES ARE SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS
AND LIMITATIONS:
a) A bill of sale conrming the purchase and purchase date must be provided.
b) This warranty will not apply to any product or part thereof that is worn or broken or that has
become inoperative due to abuse, misuse, accidental damage, neglect or lack of proper
installation, operation or maintenance (as outlined in the applicable instruction manual or
operating instructions), or that is being used for industrial, professional, commercial or
rental purposes.
c) This warranty will not apply to normal wear and tear or to expendable parts or accessories that
may be supplied with the product and that are expected to become inoperative or unusable after a
reasonable period of use.
d) This warranty will not apply to routine maintenance and consumable items, including but not
limited to lubricants, or adjustments.
e) This warranty will not apply if damage is caused by repairs made or attempted by others (i.e.:
persons not authorized by the manufacturer).
f) This warranty will not apply to any product that was sold to the original purchaser as a
reconditioned or refurbished product (unless otherwise specied in writing).
g) This warranty will not apply to any product or part thereof if any part from another manufacturer
is installed therein or if any repairs or alterations have been made or attempted by
unauthorized persons.
h) This warranty will not apply to normal deterioration of the exterior nish, including but not
limited to scratches, dents or paint chips, or to any corrosion or discolouring by heat, abrasive
and chemical cleaners.
i) This warranty will not apply to component parts sold by and identied as the product of another
company, which shall be covered under the product manufacturer’s warranty, if any.
ADDITIONAL LIMITATIONS
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser, and cannot be transferred. Neither the
retailer nor the manufacturer shall be liable for any other expense, loss or damage, including,
but not limited to, any indirect, incidental, consequential or exemplary damages arising in
connection with the sale, use or inability to use this product.
NOTICE TO CONSUMER
This warranty gives you specic legal rights, and you may have other rights, which may vary
from province to province. The provisions contained in this warranty are not intended to limit,
modify, take away from, disclaim or exclude any statutory warranties set forth in any applicable
provincial or federal legislation.

Ce produit est garanti contre tout défaut de fabrication et de matériaux pendant un (1) an à compter
de la date initiale d’achat au détail.
Sous réserve des modalités et restrictions énumérées ci-après, ce produit sera réparé ou remplacé
(par un modèle identique ou d’une valeur et de caractéristiques techniques équivalentes) à notre
discrétion, s’il nous est retourné accompagné d’une preuve d’achat pendant la période précisée
de garantie et s’il est couvert par cette garantie. Nous paierons tous les frais de réparation ou
remplacement et tous les frais de main-d’œuvre afférents.
CETTE GARANTIE FAIT L’OBJET DES MODALITÉS ET RESTRICTIONS SUIVANTES:
a) une preuve d’achat conrmant l’achat et la date d’achat doit être fournie.
b) cette garantie ne s’appliquera pas à un produit ou à ses pièces qui sont usés ou cassés, ou
devenus inopérants en raison d’un abus, d’une mauvaise utilisation, des dommages accidentels,
d’une négligence ou d’une mauvaise installation, d’un mauvais fonctionnement ou entretien
(comme indiqué dans le guide d’utilisation applicable ou dans les consignes d’utilisation) ou qui
sont utilisés à des ns industrielles, professionnelles, commerciales ou de location.
c) la présente garantie ne s’applique pas à l’usure normale ou aux pièces ou accessoires non
réutilisables qui sont fournis avec le produit et qui deviendront vraisemblablement inutilisables ou
hors d’usage après une période d’utilisation raisonnable.
d) la présente garantie ne s’applique pas à l’entretien régulier et aux articles de consommation,
y compris le carburant, les lubriants, les sacs d’aspirateur, les lames, les courroies, le papier
abrasif, les embouts, les mises au point ou les réglages.
e) la présente garantie ne s’applique pas si les dommages sont causés par des réparations ou des
tentatives de réparation faites par des tiers (c’est-à-dire des personnes non autorisées
par le fabricant).
f) la présente garantie ne s’applique à aucun produit qui a été vendu à l’acheteur original à titre de
produit remis en état ou remis à neuf (à moins qu’il n’en soit prévu autrement par écrit).
g) cette garantie ne s’appliquera pas à un produit ou à ses pièces si une pièce quelconque
provenant d’un autre fabricant y est installée ou que des réparations ou des modications ont été
effectuées ou tentées par des personnes non autorisées.
h) la présente garantie ne s’applique pas à la détérioration normale du ni extérieur, incluant
sans s’y limiter, les éraures, les bosselures et les éclats de peinture, ou à la corrosion ou à la
décoloration causée par la chaleur, les produits abrasifs et les produits de nettoyage chimiques.
i) la présente garantie ne s’applique pas aux pièces vendues par une autre entreprise et décrites
comme telles, lesquelles pièces sont couvertes par la garantie du fabricant s’y rapportant,
le cas échéant.
AUTRES RESTRICTIONS
Cette garantie ne vise que l’acheteur initial et ne peut pas être transférée. Ni le détaillant ni
le fabricant ne peuvent être tenus responsables de tous autres frais, pertes ou dommages, y
compris mais sans s’y limiter, les dommages indirects, consécutifs, accessoires ou dommages-
intérêts punitifs résultant de la vente ou l’utilisation de ce produit ou de l’incapacité à l’utiliser.
AVIS AU CONSOMMATEUR
Dans le cadre de cette garantie, vous bénéciez de certains droits et pouvez également
bénécier d’autres droits qui peuvent varier selon la province. Les clauses de cette garantie ne
