This lawn mower has the option to be manually pushed or motor-driven self-propelled when
the motor is running.
NOTE: Ensure your battery is charged before use.
1. MANUAL OPERATING
NOTE: When starting, ensure the lawn mower is set to the highest height setting so the blades
are not resting deep into the grass.
The lawn mower can be manually operated under the user’s own power when the mower is
operating, i.e., the user is pushing the lawn mower forwards or backwards.
1) Install the battery pack to the mower. Refer to Installing and Removing the Battery Pack.
2) Press down the lock off button, then pull ONLY the start bar upward towards the upper
handle bar. Keep it in position to start the mower as welll as during use. (See Fig. I1)
3) Release the lock off button and start operating the mower.
4) To stop the mower, release the start bar. Wait until the motor is fully switched off.
NOTE:
The start bar must be held rmly against the foam grip upper handle bar to both start the
mower and to keep the mower running. Releasing the start bar will stop the mower.
In case of an emergency, release the start bar immediately to switch off the mower.
2. SELF-PROPELLED OPERATING
Self-propelled operation will only operate when the motor is running.
1) Install the battery pack to the mower. Refer to Installing and Removing the Battery Pack.
2) Pull the start bar towards the upper handle bar rst, and then pull the self-propel
engagement bar upwards towards the upper handle bar also. (See Fig. I2)

forward itself with the operator steering and directing using the handlebars.
4) To stop the self-propelled operation, just release the self-propel engagement bar to its
original position. The mower will stop moving forward unless the operator pushes the
mower manually with sufcient force.
NOTE: The self-propelled operation is ONLY in the forward direction.
