Step 1: Insert Super 8 film cartridge; ASA speed is set automatically.
Step 2: Set Filming Speed Dial and align Brightness Control Ring for normal scenes.
Unscrew base and slide out battery compartment cover for access.
Install four 1.5V AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity as indicated.
Press Battery Checker Button; a green light confirms operational power.
"N" allows shutter to function while trigger is depressed for filming or single frame.
"L" locks shutter, prevents accidental release and battery drain when not in use.
Align red point on Brightness Control Ring; press trigger gently for automatic aperture adjustment.
Exposure Indicator points to Aperture Scale, not in the red warning area.
Indicator in red area; lamp symbol appears, recommending a movie-light.
