Step 1: Insert Super 8 film cartridge; ASA speed is set automatically.
Step 2: Set Filming Speed Dial and align Brightness Control Ring for normal scenes.
Unscrew base and slide out battery compartment cover for access.
Install four 1.5V AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity as indicated.
Press Battery Checker Button; a green light confirms operational power.
