The YEMA Chronograph Watch is primarily a timekeeping device that also incorporates a chronograph and a tachymeter function.
Timekeeping: The watch displays hours, minutes, and seconds through its main hands. It also includes a date display, which is visible in a dedicated window on the dial.
Chronograph: This function allows the user to measure elapsed time. It includes a central chronograph second hand and a 9 o'clock sub-register for elapsed minutes. The chronograph can be started, stopped, and reset, providing precise timing capabilities for various activities.
Tachymeter: The tachymeter function, integrated into the watch's bezel, is designed to measure speed or flow rate. By using the chronograph in conjunction with the tachymeter scale, users can calculate units per hour based on a measured time interval.

Date Setting (Position A): To adjust the date, the crown is pulled out to Position A. Turning the crown clockwise will advance the date in the date window. It is crucial to avoid adjusting the date between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM, as this period is when the watch's internal gears engage for the automatic date change, and manual adjustment during this time could potentially damage the mechanism.
Time Setting (Position B): For setting the time, the crown is pulled out to the last notch, which is Position B. Once in this position, the crown can be turned in either direction to move the hour and minute hands until the correct time is displayed. An important note for users is that if the chronograph is running when the crown is pulled to Position B, the chronograph hands will continue to move. This is not a malfunction but a characteristic of the watch's design.
Chronograph Functions: The chronograph is operated using two pushers, labeled A and B.
Pusher A (Start/Stop Chronograph): Pressing Pusher A initiates the chronograph, causing the chronograph hands to start moving. A second press of Pusher A will stop the chronograph, and the hands will indicate the elapsed time. The central 1/5 chronograph second hand displays elapsed seconds, while the 9 o'clock sub-register tracks elapsed minutes, with a maximum capacity of 60 minutes.
Pusher B (Reset Chronograph): After the chronograph has been stopped, pressing Pusher B will reset all chronograph hands to their "0" position, preparing the watch for a new measurement.
Tachymeter Function: To use the tachymeter, the user first selects the desired unit of measurement (e.g., meter, kilometer, mile, liter). The chronograph is then activated and stopped precisely when the desired unit is reached. The position of the center seconds hand on the tachymeter scale will then indicate the number of units per hour. For accurate readings, the unit of measurement must be reached exactly, and the measurement time should not exceed 1 minute or be less than 9 seconds.

Crown Management: It is vital to ensure that the crown is perfectly screwed down after any adjustment, whether winding the movement, setting the time, or setting the date. A fully screwed-down crown guarantees the watch's waterproof integrity.

Cleaning Instructions: Chemicals should never be used to clean the YEMA watch. Instead, a microfibre cloth is recommended for general cleaning. Abrasive or corrosive products, such as solvents, detergents, or perfumes, should be strictly avoided.
Post-Saltwater Exposure Care: If the watch has been exposed to saltwater, it should always be rinsed thoroughly with fresh water immediately afterward to prevent corrosion and maintain its condition.
