25. In the event of a battery leaking, do not allow the liquid to
come in contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been
made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water

27. Ensure that batteries are installed correctly with regard to
polarity (+ and –).
28. Batteries usage by children should be supervised. Do not
allow children to replace batteries without adult supervision.
29. Seek medical advice immediately if a battery has been
swallowed.
30. Keep batteries clean and dry.
31. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the remote prior
to battery installation.
32. Always select the correct size and type of battery most
suitable for the intended use. Information provided with the
equipment to assist correct battery selection should be
retained for reference.
33. Remove batteries from equipment if it is not to be used for an
extended period of time unless it is for emergency purposes.
34. Remove exhausted batteries promptly
35. Do not dispose of batteries in fire except under conditions of
approved and controlled incineration.
