Step 2: Planning the position of the switch installation in the cabinet and install the floating nuts to
the settled position of the front hole of the cabinet

5.Connection of the hardware
1).Connect one end of the cable to the switch and the other end to the corresponding device,
as shown as
illustration 5-1

Please confirm that the device is equipped with the PoE if the switch is passive; at the same
time, please confirm the voltage of the access device is matched with the switch’s, otherwise
it will burn the access device.

Step 3: One installer holds the bottom of the switch by hands and move the switch to the settled
position; another installer fixes the hangers to the front hole of the cabinet by floating nuts with
the screws.
2).Please check the condition of the corresponding indicator when electrified. It means the
connection works well when the indicator is ON; blocked when it is OFF, please check the wiring
and confirm the corresponding device start up.
