Usage Features:
Assembly:
- Stabilizers: Attach the Front Stabilizer (2) and Rear Stabilizer (3) to the Main Body (1) using two Hex Bolts each.
- Pedals:
- The Right Pedal (4) is marked "L" on the end of its axle and connects to the Crank Arm “L” (12). It should be threaded on counter-clockwise.
- The Left Pedal (5) is marked "R" on the end of its axle and connects to the Crank Arm “R” (12). It should be threaded on clockwise.
- Security Check: Before using, recheck all bolts and nuts to ensure they are securely tightened.
Resistance Control:
- Increase Resistance: Turn the control knob to the right (clockwise) several turns until the desired resistance is achieved.
- Decrease Resistance: Turn the control knob to the left (counter-clockwise) several turns to reduce resistance.
Leg Use:
- Place the unit on the floor.
- Sit comfortably in a chair, maintaining an upright position similar to riding a bike.
- Avoid extending legs too far forward, as this may push the unit away.
- For best results, use on a carpeted surface or a non-sliding surface.
- Place the pedal in the middle of your foot and secure the Safety Strap around the arch of your foot.
Arm Use:
- Place the unit on a tabletop so it is chest high.
- Sit or stand in a comfortable position.
- The foot strap is adjustable to the desired length.
- It is recommended to center your foot on the pedal and adjust the strap for a secure fit around the arch of your foot.
- Users may remove the strap if it is more convenient.
Computer Functions:
- Function Button (MODE): Press to select each function.
- SCAN: Automatically scans through each mode in sequence.
- TIME: Counts upwards to 99:59 in one-second increments.
- COUNT: Accumulates the number of repetitions during the current workout session.
- TOTAL COUNT: Accumulates the total number of repetitions across different workout sessions. This value can only be reset by replacing the batteries.
- CALORIE: Accumulates the total calories consumed during exercise. This is a rough guide for comparison over several exercise sessions.
Computer Notes:
- The computer turns on by pressing the "MODE" button or by starting exercise.
- The LCD will automatically shut off after 5 minutes if no signal is transmitted to the computer.
- To reset all values, press and hold the "MODE" button for 4 seconds.
- The computer operates with one 1.5V AAA battery.
Maintenance Features:
- Battery Installation: To install the battery, remove the computer by pulling it straight out of the unit.
- General Maintenance: Recheck all bolts and nuts regularly to ensure they remain securely tightened, especially before each use.
- Before starting any exercise program, it is recommended to consult a physician.
- Discontinue use immediately if you experience any irregular physical condition such as dizziness, severe muscle or joint pain, pain in the chest, lower back pain, neck pain, or any other symptom.
