aftermarketaccessonthefactoryOBD2port.TheDoubleBypasscanalsobeusedonoldersupportedvehiclesto
relocatedevicessuchasZAutomotiveTazerorBurnBoxtothetrunk,freeingupthefactoryOBD2portforother
uses.Installtimeisunder5minutesandrequiresa10mmwrenchandakeyorscrewdriver.
Installation
First,openthetrunkandliftoutthetrunkfloorpanel.LocatetheSTARconnectoraccessbox,whichisonthe
passengerside,rightbehindtherearseats,underalayerofpadding.










Installation Process

Locate Trunk Access Box

Lift the trunk floor panel and locate the STAR connector access box on the passenger side.

Access Box Cover and Harness Connection

Release the access box cover tabs, then plug the green and white bypass harness connectors into the STAR connectors.

Cable Routing and Cover Reassembly

Snap the access box cover back on and route the harness cable towards the battery.

Fuse Box and Add-a-Circuit Installation

Access the fuse box, remove fuse 37, and install the add-a-circuit fuse tap into the lower position.

Final Ground Connection and Device Plug-in

Connect the Double Bypass ground lug behind the battery and plug in the OBD2 device.
