    • Use cookware with a bottom that is as thick and flat as possible.
    • The cookware bottom should have the same diameter as the cooking zone for optimal results.
    • Place smaller cookware on smaller cooking zones.
    • Position cookware directly in the center of the cooking zone.
    • Cookware made of enameled steel, aluminum, or copper bottoms may cause discoloration on the glass-ceramic surface.
    • Avoid using empty cookware or activating zones without cookware.
    • Do not place aluminum foil on the appliance.
    • Lift cast iron, aluminum, or damaged-bottom cookware when moving them to prevent scratches.
  • Safety Precautions during Use:
    • Do not leave the appliance unattended during operation.
    • Set the cooking zone to "off" after each use.
    • Do not place cutlery or saucepan lids on hot cooking zones.
    • Do not operate with wet hands or when in contact with water.
    • Do not use as a work or storage surface.
    • If the surface is cracked, immediately disconnect from the power supply to prevent electric shock.
    • Be cautious when placing food into hot oil, as it may splash.
    • Never try to extinguish a fire with water; switch off the appliance and cover the flame with a lid or fire blanket.
    • Do not store items on cooking surfaces.
    • Keep flammable products away from the appliance.
    • Do not use an external timer or separate remote-control system.
    • Unattended cooking with fat or oil can be dangerous and lead to fire.
  • Energy Saving Tips:
    • Heat only the necessary amount of water.
    • Always use lids on cookware when possible.
    • Place cookware on the zone before activating it.
    • Use residual heat to keep food warm or melt it.

Maintenance Features:

  • Regular Cleaning: Clean the hob regularly after each use to prevent deterioration of the surface material.
  • Cleaning Procedure:
    • Switch off the appliance and let it cool down before cleaning.
    • Disconnect from the electrical supply before maintenance.
    • Use a moist, soft cloth and neutral detergents.
    • Avoid abrasive products, abrasive cleaning pads, solvents, metal objects, water spray, or steam cleaners.
    • Immediate Removal (while hot): Melted plastic, plastic foil, and sugary foods. Use a special scraper at an acute angle to remove residues.
    • Removal (after cooling): Limescale rings, water rings, fat stains, shiny metallic discoloration. Clean with a moist cloth and detergent, then dry with a soft cloth.
  • General Maintenance:
    • Scratches or dark stains on the surface do not affect hob operation.
    • Use a special cleaner and scraper for the glass surface.
  • Troubleshooting:
    • If the hob cannot be activated, check if the fuse is released. If fuses repeatedly blow, contact a qualified electrician.
    • If the residual heat indicator does not come on, it might be because the zone operated for only a short time. If the zone was hot enough, contact an Authorized Service Centre.
    • If self-troubleshooting fails, contact your dealer or an Authorized Service Centre, providing data from the rating plate, the three-digit letter code for the glass ceramic (found in the corner of the glass surface), and any error messages displayed. Servicing due to incorrect user operation may be charged, even during the warranty period.
  • Service: For repairs, contact an Authorized Service Centre and use only original spare parts.
  • Disposal:
    • Contact your municipal authority for information on correct appliance disposal.
    • Disconnect the appliance from the mains supply.
    • Cut off and discard the mains cable.
    • Recycle all packaging materials.
    • Do not dispose of electrical equipment with general household waste; use local authority collection points or commercial recycling centers.
