Its primary function is to extract smoke, steam, and cooking odors from the kitchen, ensuring good air ventilation. Usage Features

The cooker hood features a simple control panel with two switches:

  • Light Switch (1): To switch the light on and off, independently of other hood functions, to illuminate the cooking surface.

Maintenance Features

Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the appliance's performance and safety.

  • General Cleaning:
    • Clean the appliance regularly with a soft cloth to prevent surface deterioration.
    • Use warm water and a mild, neutral detergent.
    • Do not use abrasive detergents, brushes, steam cleaners, water spray, harsh abrasive cleaners, or sharp metal scrapers, as these can damage the surface.
    • Clean the interior of the appliance with a cloth.
    • After cooking, allow the appliance to cool down and dry with a clean cloth or paper towels to avoid stains.
  • Grease Filter Cleaning:
    • Grease filters are mounted with clips and pins.
    • To remove: Press the handle of the mounting clip (1), slightly tilt the front of the filter downwards (2), then pull.
    • Clean filters using a sponge with non-abrasive detergents or in a dishwasher (low temperature, short cycle). Discoloration of the grease filter in the dishwasher is normal and does not affect performance.
    • To remount: Follow the removal steps in reverse order.
    • Filters must be replaced at least every four months.
  • Charcoal Filter Replacement:
    • Charcoal filters are non-washable and non-regenerable.
    • To replace: First, remove the grease filters. Turn the charcoal filter counterclockwise (1) and then pull (2).

  • Lamp Replacement:
    • Safety Warning: Disconnect the appliance from electricity and ensure the light bulb has cooled down before touching it. Use protective gloves.
