Why is there a high pressure drop across my ZEKS HeatSink HSG Dehumidifier?
    • J
      Jessica GomezAug 12, 2025
A high pressure drop across your ZEKS Dehumidifier can occur for several reasons. Ensure that both the inlet and outlet valves are fully open. If they are, the inlet and outlet filters may be blocked and require replacement. If the system operating temperature is below 32°F, turn the dryer off.

How to test drain valve on ZEKS Dehumidifier to stop downstream moisture?
    • H
      Hannah ThomasAug 18, 2025
To address moisture downstream in your ZEKS Dehumidifier, start by depressing the “Drain Test” button. If the “Drain Open Light” illuminates but the valve doesn't open, check the wiring connections to ensure they are secure and that power is reaching the solenoid coil. If the valve still doesn't open, clean it.

What to do if there is moisture downstream from my ZEKS Dehumidifier?
    • P
      pdeckerNov 5, 2025
If you notice moisture downstream from your ZEKS Dehumidifier, several factors could be the cause. First, depress the “Drain Test” button. If the drain valve operates, then the timer may need adjustment. Also check for excessive flow, and if present, correct the cause and close the by-pass valve. Make sure the dryer has power by checking the power supply and fuses/circuit breakers. If the compressor isn't running but the fan is, clean the ambient air filter. Ensure the ambient temperature is below 120°F. If the compressor and fan aren't running and the Refrig ON light is off, reconnect the power source and restart. If the Refrig ON light is on, the compressor relay may be faulty and need replacement. Check the contactor board for loose wire connections or power loss at the control. If none...
