Use the appliance

The air fryer can be used to prepare many dishes. To prepare
the food, use the settings in the table — see Frying settings
Frying with hot air

Set the fryer horizontally on a rm, level surface.
Donotplacetheapplianceonasurfacethatis
susceptibletohightemperature.
Donotplaceanyobjectsontheappliance.
Donotblocktheairinlet(10)andairoutlet(6)
atthe back of theappliance,as this disrupts
theairowandwillaffectthecooking.

Plug the power cord (7) into a power source.

Move the cover (2) forward and remove the bowl (5) from
the appliance
Basket release button cover (2) protects
againstinadvertentpressingofthebutton (3)
anddisengagingthebasket(1)fromthebowl
(5).Ifyouremovethebowlfromtheunit and
donotintendtotakeoutthebasket(1),setthe
cover(2)insuchapositionas to protectthe
button(3).

Press the basket release button (3) and remove the
basket (1) from the bowl (5).

Put the food into the basket (1).
Never completely ll the basket (1) or load
more than the allowed amount of food (see
Fryingsettings)asthiscouldaffectthequality
offrying.

Fit the basket (1) in the bowl (5).
Set the basket release button cover (2) in
suchapositiontoprotectthebutton(3).This
protects against inadvertent pressing of the
button(3)anddisengagingthebasket(1)from
thebowl.

Place the bowl (5) in the fryer.
Donotusethebowl(5)withoutthebasket(1).
Bowl (5) must be properly placed in the
appliance.Ifyoudonotproperlytthebowl(5)
inthefryer,theappliancewillnotstart.

Select the desired temperature using the temperature
control knob (9).

To start the appliance set the desired cooking time using
the time setting knob (8).
To determine the cooking temperature and
time, follow the guidelines in the Frying
settingssection.

The power indicator (11) and the heating indicator (12)
will come on.

Timer will count down the cooking time.
Duringhotairfryingtheheatingindicator(12)
will come onand off. It indicates theheating
element turns on and off to maintain the set
temperature.
Youcanpreheattheappliancebeforeplacing
foodinit.Inthiscase,setthetimecontrolknob
(8)toabout5minutes,andthenwaituntilthe
fryerheatsup.Then,llthebasket(1)andset
cookingtimeusingthetimecontrolknob(8).
Donottouchthebowl(5)duringcookingand
forsometimeafter,astheapplianceheatsup
toaveryhightemperature.Holdthebowl(5)by
thehandleonly.
Excessfatfromfoodiscollectedatthebottom
ofthebowl(5).

Some dishes need to be tossed half way through cooking
time — see Frying settings section.

Slide button cover (2) forward and remove the bowl
(5) by the handle (4). Then set the button cover (2) so
that it protects the basket release button (3) to prevent
accidental pressing. Toss the contents of the bowl (5).
Makesureyoudonotpressthebasketrelease
button(3).
Toreduceweight,youcanremovethebasket
(1)fromthebowl(5)andtossthecontentsof
thebasketonly.Todothis,removethebowl(5)
fromtheappliance,setonthesurfaceresistant
to high temperature and press the basket
releasebutton(3).

Replace the bowl (5) in the air fryer and continue frying.
Ifyousetthetimertohalfoftheentirecooking
time,youwillhearabeepwhenyouneedtotoss
thefood.Youwillneedtousethetimecontrol
knob(8)tosettheotherhalfofthecookingtime.
If you set the timer for the entire cooking
time, you hear a beep when the cooking
completes. You can remove the bowl (5) at
anytimetocheckthefood.Theappliancewill
automatically power off and resume cooking
whenyoureplacethebowlintheappliance.
