Zephyr Lock # 2310/2315 Electronic Keypad Lock Manual
Set up & Supervisory Instructions:
1. Insert two 1.5V AA batteries, the Lock will give an audible "beep, beep" sound if batteries inserted
correctly. Red and green LED flashes 2 times, self-test completed.
2. Factory Sample Settings: In Permanent Use mode the default SAMPLE USER code is a 4 digit "1234";
MANAGER code is a 6 digit "123456"; PROGRAM code is 8 a digit “12344321”. It is highly recommended
that the default settings for the USER and MANAGER codes are changed by the owners to new codes if
the lock is installed.
3. Manager & User Code:
To Open:
A. Enter the 6 digit Manager code, press "ZEPHYR" button, the green light will turn on to show the
correct code has been entered and the lock is in the pre-unlock status.
B. In Permanent Use status, after three seconds the green LED will go off, lock will be in the pre-lock
status.
C. After entering manager correct code,
1. Shared Use: The lock will erase the existing user code making the lock available for the
next user.
2. Permanent Use: before the green light turns off, Press and hold "ZEPHYR" button for 3
seconds, can to change the user code.
To Change Manager Code:
A. Input the current 6 digit manager code, press "ZEPHYR" button, green light turns on.
B. Press and hold "ZEPHYR" button for 3 seconds, the buzzer issues a long “beep” and the green light
turns on.
C. When beep ends and green light turns off, input new self-selected 6 digit manager code and press
"ZEPHYR" button for confirmation. The lock issues a long audible “beep “and the red and green light
will flash twice to show manager code has changed successfully. Lock is now set new 6 digit
Managers code.
1. If an incorrect 6 digit code is entered the red light flashes 3 times to indicate an error.
To Change User Code (Permanent Use only):
A. Input the default 4 digit user code, press "ZEPHYR" button, green light blinks and lock is now locked.
B. Right away, press and hold "ZEPHYR" button for 3 seconds, the buzzer issues a long “beep” and the
green light turns on.
C. When beep ends and green light turns off, input new self-selected 4 digit user code and press
"ZEPHYR" button for confirmation. The lock issues a long audible “beep “and the red and green light
will flash twice to show user code has changed successfully. Lock is now set with the new 4 digit
user code.
1. If an incorrect 4 digit code is entered the red light flashes 3 times to indicate an error.
