SECTION 3 - BASIC OPERATION
COMPUTER LOGON
The Logon procedure establishes contact between the Model 16 and the
accessing device. In three steps the accessing device requests attention,
the Model 16 complies and inquires as to device's identity, and the device
responds.
The general Logon proceeds as follows:
ACCESSING DEVICE PAGING TERMINAL COMMENTS
"<CR>" Accessing device requests attention
"ID=" Paging Terminal grants attention,
inquires of Device Identity
"<identity>" Device Identity
Where <identity> is one of the five shown below:
