TO CLEAN, INSPECT OR EXCHANGE THE FILTERS:
TAKING OUT THE FILTERS (D 510 - D 512):
• Takeoutthewatercontainer(seechapter'WATERDRAINAGE&FULLWATER').
• Openthefilterbypullingthe2lowerclampstowardsyourself.
• Takeoutthescreenfilterbyfirmlypressingdownthetopofthescreenfilterwith2
or3fingers.Thescreenfilterwillbendandthetwosecuringhooksatthetopsideof
thescreenfilterwillbereleasablefromitsdedicatedholes.Thescreenfilterisnow
disconnectedandcanbeeasilyremoved.

• Takeoutthefilterholderbypushingthelefthandsideclampandtherighthandside
clamptowardseachother.Thefilterholderwillbendandcannoweasilybetaken
out.Thescreenfilterbecomesvisible.
• Takeoutthescreenfilterbypushingthelefthandsideclampandtherighthandside
clamptowardseachother.Thescreenfilterwillbendandcannoweasilybetakenout.

HAFfilterandtheactivecarbonfilter
Thescreenfilterhastobecleanedregularlywithavacuumcleanertoavoidblockingof
theairflow.Itdoesnotneedperiodicallyreplacement.
Toremindtheend-usertoexchangethe3M
TM
andActivecarbonfilterthedehumidifierwill
produceanacousticalalarmsignaloncethe3M
TM
filterandactivecarbonfilterultimately
needsreplacement.Thefilterreplacementalarmsignalis3beeps(repeatedcontinuously
everyhalfhouruntilreset).FortheD516andD520thissignaliscombinedwiththelight
ring around the user interface blinking (in blue colour) with 1 blink per second.
Resetthefilterreplacementalarmsignalbypressingthe2buttons
and at the same
time for 2 seconds.
Insomecases,forexampleairpollutionduetoconstructionworkorduetopets,itis
possible that the 3M
TM
filter needs replacement even prior to the filter replacement alarm
