INTENDED USE
The Zimmer® UNIVERSAL Power System is a power tool intended to be used for large and small bone surgeries (such as knee,
hip, foot, hand, and shoulder).
The Zimmer® UNIVERSAL Power System is to be used by surgeons in the operang room environment. The populaon of paents
is determined by the nature of the surgery and it is the responsibility of the surgeon to treat the paents according to the
common pracce.
The Zimmer® UNIVERSAL Power System can run on either baery power, electric power (when ulizing the appropriate power
cord), or pneumac power. Handpieces are designed with single or double triggers, which enable the forward and reverse
funcons.
All Zimmer® UNIVERSAL Power System aachments for drilling, sawing and reaming are designed to be connected to Zimmer®
UNIVERSAL handpieces.
