Overview

The Zoef Robot Evert (Model RB80Z) is an intelligent window cleaning robot designed for automated cleaning of various smooth, flat surfaces. This device is a Dutch Quality Brand product, emphasizing ease of use and reliable performance.

Function Description:

The Zoef Robot Evert is primarily a window cleaning robot, but its application extends to other smooth and flat surfaces such as floors, tiles, and marble. It operates with artificial intelligence technology, allowing it to automatically clean the entire surface in three directions. The robot features ultrasonic automatic water spraying, which can be activated for wet cleaning. For optimal results, it is recommended to use the window cleaner frequently. Sporadic use may lead to dirtier windows and quicker soiling of the cleaning cloths, resulting in less effective cleaning. The device automatically stops after completing a cleaning cycle.

Usage Features:

The robot can be controlled via a wireless remote control, offering various cleaning modes.

  • Powering On/Off: The device has a power on/off button. To start the machine and confirm fan rotation, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
  • Placement: Before releasing the robot, ensure it is securely suctioned onto the glass. For windows without balconies, a danger warning should be placed on the ground below to alert people.
  • Cleaning Modes:
    • Automatic Cleaning: The remote control offers three automatic modes:
      • Start cleaning automatically (general automatic cleaning).
      • Automatic left cleaning.
      • Automatic right cleaning.
      • Automatic cleaning downwards.
      • Automatic upward cleaning.
      • Automatic cleaning from left to right.
      • Automatic cleaning from right to left.
    • Manual Cleaning: Allows for manual control of the robot's movement.
  • Water Spraying:
    • Automatic Water Spraying: Activates the ultrasonic water spraying function.
    • Manual Water Sprayer: For manual control of water spraying.
    • Water Filling: The device has a water filling opening. Only water should be used; no other cleaning agents should be added to the water reservoir.
  • Safety Features:
    • Safety Cord: A strong safety cord with a safety buckle is included. It is crucial to securely attach the safety rope to a fixed object in the house before use to prevent falls. The safety cord should be checked for damage and knot security before each use. When retracting the robot with the safety cord, keep the cord as close as possible to the glass surface.
    • Anti-fall Control Algorithm: Ensures the robot does not fall.
    • Automatic Window Frame Detection: Helps the robot navigate and clean efficiently.
    • UPS System: In case of a power outage, the built-in battery provides power for up to 20 minutes. During this time, the robot remains in place, emits a warning sound, and red/blue lights flash alternately, signaling the user to remove the robot to prevent falling.
  • Light Indicators:
    • Red light: Error indication or flashing when the machine stops due to an unknown obstacle or power outage.
    • Blue light: Normal operation.
    • Green light: Charging completed.
    • Orange light: Charging in progress.
  • Remote Control: The remote control signal can be received from both the front and back of the product. To replace the battery, press the battery cover on the back.

Maintenance Features:

  • Cleaning Cloths: The robot uses microfiber cleaning cloths. After each use, the cleaning cloths should be cleaned thoroughly. For initial use, it is recommended to "dry clean" (disable water spraying) to remove any sand from the glass surface. If water or detergent is sprayed on the cleaning cloth or glass beforehand, it can mix with sand and create a yellowish mud, leading to poor wiping results.
  • Cleaning Ring: Before use, ensure the cleaning ring is properly installed on the cleaning wheel to prevent air leakage.
  • Battery Maintenance: To preserve the lifespan of the built-in battery, it should be recharged every 4-6 months to ensure normal battery usage. When charging, turn off the device, connect the power cord, and the orange light will indicate charging. A green light signifies a full charge.
  • Troubleshooting:
    • Robot slipping: Spray water on the cloth.
    • Circular marks on glass: Replace dirty cleaning cloths with clean ones and wipe again.
    • Machine not running smoothly: Check if the cleaning cloth is too dirty (replace it), if there are different surface areas (glass, sticker, thermal insulation, mist sticker), or if the cleaning wheel screw is loose (tighten it, but not too much).
    • Machine stops at obstacles/no warning sound: Use the remote control to move the machine to a safe location or carefully retract it with the safety cord. Remove any obstacles on doors and windows and check for air leakage.
    • Arc markings on polished glass at night: For the first use, disable water spraying and use a clean cloth to remove sand. For subsequent uses, clean and replace the cloth, enable water spraying, or keep the upper cleaning wheel clean and dry. Apply a small amount of dish soap or cleaning vinegar (1-2 sprays) to the lower cleaning wheel, without fully wetting it, to eliminate arc marks.
    • Machine not spraying water: Check if the water spraying function switch is on, clean the ultrasonic spray outlet with a soft cloth, and ensure the water tank has water and clean solution.
  • Safety Warnings:
    • Keep the manual in a safe place.
    • Adhere to all cautionary warnings.
    • Do not expose the machine to rain, damp areas, direct sunlight, or heat.
    • Keep the machine and accessories out of reach of children.
    • Do not use on cracked glass.
    • Keep hair, clothing, fingers, and body parts away from openings or rotating parts.
    • Do not use near flammable liquids or gases.
    • Use the standard power adapter and appropriate power outlet. Ensure good ventilation around the adapter and do not cover it.
    • Do not touch the adapter with wet hands or feet.
    • Do not use damaged power cords or adapters.
    • Do not attempt to repair the adapter.
    • Dispose of the product at a designated collection point for electrical and electronic equipment, not as household waste.
