  • Adjustable Slice Thickness: A thickness knob (E in Figure 2) allows users to precisely set the desired slice thickness from 0 to 13 mm. For safety, the thickness setting should be returned to "0" after each use.
  • Food Holder: The appliance includes a food holder (G in Figure 2) to secure the meat during slicing, ensuring user safety by keeping hands away from the sharp blade. It is explicitly stated that the slicer should not be used without the food holder.
  • Carriage System: A carriage (F in Figure 2) with a push handle (C in Figure 2) allows for smooth back-and-forth movement of the meat against the blade, facilitating even slicing. The carriage fixing knob (D in Figure 2) helps secure the carriage.

  • Lubrication:
    • Sliding Part: The sliding part of the machine requires regular lubrication.
    • Meat Holder Sliding Shaft: The meat holder sliding shaft should be cleaned with a dry cloth and lubricated with edible oil once a day to ensure smooth movement.
    • Carriage Shaft: The carriage shaft should be lubricated with SAE140 machine lubricating oil once a week to ensure smooth movement.
  • Integrated Sharpener: The slicer is equipped with a sharpener (M in Figure 2) to maintain blade sharpness.
    • Sharpening Process: The sharpener can be rotated 180° (using the sharpener fixing knob O in Figure 2) to sharpen both the back and front of the blade. The sharpening process involves pressing a button on the sharpener to bring the grinding wheel into contact with the blade for short durations (10-15 seconds for the back, 1-2 seconds for the front).
    • Sharpener Maintenance: After several sharpenings, attachments on the grinding wheel should be removed with detergent and a brush. Sand particles on the blade should also be cleaned.
  • Belt Tension Adjustment: The manual provides instructions on how to tighten the motor belt if it becomes loose, involving loosening and adjusting nuts on the motor assembly.
  • Grounding Instructions: The appliance requires proper grounding with a 3-conductor cord and a 3-prong grounding-type plug to protect against electric shock.
