using the wireless leash feature
WARNING: THE ALARM CAN CAUSE TEMPORARY OR PERMANENT
HEARING LOSS IF PLACED CLOSE TO THE EAR.
The same alert will occur if the Bluetooth wireless connection with
your phone is lost or if your phone is turned OFF while the ZOMM
is connected. To avoid unnecessary alerts, tur n OFF the ZOMM
before turning OFF your phone.
NOTE: The ZOMM’s leash length varies based on environment
and your customized myZOMM settings.

2. When the call is ringing, tap the Z-button once to transfer the
outgoing call to the ZOMM.

NOTE: To adjust the speakerphone volume, toggle your phone’s
volume controls up or down while talking on the ZOMM.

(9 seconds).
2. Immediately release the Z-button.

(through the 6-second PANIC alarm).
2. Release the Z-button after the ZOMMUV[PÄLZ`V\[OH[P[PZ

3. The ZOMM will then place an emergency call using your
mobile phone. The ZOMM will serve as a speakerphone for
the emergency call.

NOTE: You can mute/unmute the speaker with a tap of
the Z-button but the microphone will remain active for the
duration of the call.

To r es e t t h e ZOMM:
1. Insert a paper clip into the reset button hole.
2. Gently press and release the RESET button using the paper clip.
3. Tur n ON t h e ZOMM.
Should the ZOMM stop functioning, resetting the ZOMM will turn
it OFF. When the ZOMM is turned back on, it will return to normal
operating
mode.
NOTE: The reset button hole is located under the metal loop
on the top of the ZOMM.

ZOMM uses the paired and connected mobile phone to initiate an emergency call via the
Bluetooth
wireless interface and requires mobile phone carrier service. Emergency assistance dialing features may
not work on all phones and on all networks. Always check your local listings for the correct emergency
number for your current location and set your ZOMM’s emergency number accordingly. The default

paired mobile phone.
Before turning the ZOMM ON or OFF, make sure it is unplugged.
