The Zopa Monti 2 highchair (model ZOP055056) is a children's dining chair designed for infants from 6 months to 3 years old, with a maximum weight capacity of 15 kg. It complies with safety standards EN14988:2017+A1:2020 and EN12790.

Function Description:

The Monti 2 highchair provides a safe and comfortable seating solution for children during meal times. It features adjustable components to adapt to the child's growth and different usage scenarios. The chair can be folded for storage and transport, and its various parts are designed for easy assembly and adjustment.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Age Range: 6 months to 3 years
  • Weight Capacity: Up to 15 kg
  • Height Adjustment: 6 positions
  • Backrest Adjustment: 3 positions
  • Footrest Adjustment: 3 positions
  • Tray Adjustment: 3 positions
  • Safety Standards: EN14988:2017+A1:2020, EN12790

Usage Features:

  • Assembly: The highchair requires assembly of its components, including attaching the metal tubes to the plastic bases and then inserting the wheels. The front and rear tubes are distinct and must be installed correctly. The armrests are attached by pressing them onto the chair frame until two clicks are heard, indicating secure installation.
  • Unfolding: To unfold the chair, press the buttons on the sides of the chair simultaneously, hold the rear legs with your foot, and carefully push.
  • Folding: To fold the chair, remove the tray and hang it on the rear legs. Press the left and right buttons on the upper part of the chair structure, then use your foot to push the back legs towards the front legs.
  • Tray Adjustment: The double tray can be adjusted into three positions. To adjust, press and hold the buttons on both sides of the bottom of the tray and slide it onto the armrests. Ensure it is properly secured by gently pulling it towards you.
  • Height Adjustment: The chair's height can be set to six different positions. To adjust, press both buttons on the back of the front legs simultaneously and move the seat to the desired height.
  • Backrest Adjustment: The backrest can be adjusted into three positions. To adjust, press the button on the back of the seat and move the backrest to the appropriate position.
  • Footrest Adjustment: The footrest can be adjusted into three positions. To adjust, press both buttons on the left and right sides of the footrest simultaneously and move it to the desired position. The steps are attached by tilting them slightly upwards and inserting them into the holes at the bottom of the footrest, then aligning them downwards.
  • Restraint System: The highchair is equipped with a restraint system to secure the child. The belt size should be adjusted correctly, and the straps snapped into the buckle one by one until an audible click confirms they are secured. To release, press the button in the middle of the buckle. The crotch strap and safety belts are crucial for the child's safety.
  • Stability: The chair must always be placed on a horizontal, stable surface, away from stairs or steps.
  • Supervision: Children should never be left unattended in the highchair.
  • Single Child Use: Only one child should be seated in the highchair at a time.
  • Tray Safety: The tray alone does not guarantee the child's safety; the restraint system must always be used.
  • Weight Distribution: Avoid placing bags or heavy objects on the tray or hanging them on the chair frame, as this could cause it to tip over.
  • Cover: The highchair should always be used with its appropriate cover.

Maintenance Features:

  • Pre-use Check: Before each use, ensure all safety locks are properly secured, the chair frame is correctly opened and locked, and all harnesses are properly attached.
  • Damage Inspection: Before assembly, check for any damaged components from transport. If damaged, the product should not be used and must be kept out of reach of children. Do not use the chair if any part is missing, torn, or otherwise damaged.
  • Cleaning: The manual does not specify cleaning instructions, but general care for children's products usually involves wiping surfaces with a damp cloth and mild soap.
  • Storage: When not in use, the highchair should be stored out of reach of children.
  • Environmental Factors: Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, as this can cause discoloration of fabrics and materials. Do not place the chair near electrical appliances, gas cookers, or other heat sources to prevent burns or fire. Keep the product away from electrical wires. Do not place near windows or walls where a child could reach curtains or cords, posing a risk of suffocation or strangulation.
