Manufacturer’s Warranty & Service
Zounds offers the original purchaser a non-transferable two year manufacturer’s
warranty covering the hearing aid(s), charging unit, and remote control (“Covered
Product”), effective from the date of purchase. The warranty covers damage or defects
of Covered Product caused by failure of materials or workmanship. The warranty does
not cover damage or defects of Covered Product caused by improper handling or care,
attempted or actual self-service or unauthorized service work, unusual wear and tear,
exposure to chemicals, immersion in water, or excessive exposure to moisture.
A claim for warranty service of a Covered Product must be made by contacting
Zounds at the phone number listed below for referral to a Zounds retail location or
Zounds Service Center. Unauthorized service on the Covered Product will void the
warranty and Zounds makes no representation that a Covered Product may be repaired
following unauthorized service. To ensure that you are quickly serviced, Zounds may
elect to replace your Covered Product with a new, used, or rebuilt product of the same
or better model.
Do not attempt to repair your hearing aid yourself. Never insert anything into the small
openings on your hearing aids.
