FCC Regulations
The device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules, ensuring it does not cause harmful interference and accepts any interference received. It has been tested and found to comply with Class B digital device limits, providing reasonable protection against harmful interference in residential installations. If interference occurs, try the following:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment to an outlet on a different circuit.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician.
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the responsible party could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
This device is designed to meet emission limits for radio frequency (RF) energy set by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). During SAR testing, the device transmits at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands. The actual SAR level during operation is typically below the maximum value because the device adjusts its power output to the minimum required to reach the network.
The SAR limit set by the FCC is 1.6 W/kg. For this device, the highest reported SAR value for near the body is 0.95 W/kg. SAR compliance for body operation is based on a separation distance of 5 mm between the unit and the human body. To ensure RF exposure compliance, carry the device at least 10 mm away from your body. When using belt clips or holsters, ensure they do not contain metallic components to maintain a 10 mm separation.
