Gears
Fit
the
selector
shaft
with
the
num-
ber
of
packing
washers
calculated
into
the
left
casing,
then
fit
selector
gears
in
sequence
in
such
a
way
that
the
larger
collar
faces
down,
i.e.
towards
the
larger
gear.
Gears
are
correctly
fitted
if
only
onb
oil
groove
lies
between
each
two
gears,
and
the
arrow
at
the
side
points
to
the
next
larger
gear.
Next,
with
the
depth
gauge,
mea-
sure
distance
from
end
face
of
selector
shaft
to
stop
face
of
selec-
tor
gear
(fig.
50).
