1. Unpacking and assembly
I M P O R T A N T
The first charge is crucial!
Please fully charge the battery before using your bike for the
first time!
Dear Customer, Please note that your bike is delivered to you 98% pre-assembled. As a rule, the fol-
lowing activities remain to be carried by you after unpacking the bike:
- Check the scope of supply (see: 10 Unpacking and checking delivery on p. 28)
- Charge the battery (see: 12 Before riding the bike for the first time / Charging the battery on
p. 35)
- Fit the pedals (see: 11 Assembling components of the bike / Fitting the pedals on p. 32)
- Adjust the handlebars (see: 11 Assembling components of the bike / Installing and turning
the handlebars on p. 29)
- Adjust the saddle (see: 11 Assembling components of the bike / Adjusting the saddle on p.
30)
- Check the proper function of all the brakes (see: 13 Using the bike / Actuating the brakes on
p. 39)
- Check the function of the derailleur (see: 13 Using the bike / Operating the gears on p. 40)
and possibly after adjustment or fine adjustment of the derailleur (see: 13 Using the bike / 21
Care and maintenance of your bike / Setting and adjusting the rear derailleur on p. 61 and 21
Care and maintenance of your bike / Setting and adjusting the front derailleur on p. 63)
- Check all components and bolt connections for proper installation and tightness.
