Initial Setup Guide
Phone Socket Connection
1. Remove any devices from your Master phone socket, and plug the Grey
RJ-11 cable into the DSL socket of the ADSL filter
2. Connect the other end of the RJ-11 cable to the DSL port of your Router
3. Plug the ADSL filter into the phone socket
4. If you have a telephone plugged into the phone socket, remove it and
plug the ADSL Filter into the phone socket. You can then plug the
telephone cord into the ADSL filter.
Connect the Computer
5. Using the supplied yellow RJ-45 (Ethernet) cable, connect port 1 of your
Zyxel Router to the network LAN connection socket of your computer.
Connect the Router Power Source
6. Connect the Power Adapter to the nearest AC mains outlet and the cable
from the supply to the power socket on your Zyxel Router. Switch on the
gateway by pressing the power button.
Check Router Status
7. Once the DSL and internet lights are both solid green, please wait 5
minutes. That’s it! You’re ready to use the internet.
