What to do if
1Control SOLO does not detect remote control
When pressing the remote button nothing happens and after 30 seconds the app brings up an
error screen.
Possible causes:
- The remote control uses an unsupported frequency (for example, a quartz remote control)
- The remote control is very powerful and you have to keep it at a greater distance from SOLO
- Remote control batteries are running low: either you have to place it closer to SOLO or you
should replace the batteries
1Control SOLO does not copy the remote control
When pressing the remote button, the app immediately brings up an error screen.
Possible causes:
- The remote control is very powerful and you have to keep it at a greater distance from SOLO
The gate or the garage won’t open
The copying procedure nishes without errors, but at the nal test screen, the gate or garage
does not open.
Possible causes:
- The remote control is not a compatible model
- You have not made a copy of the remote control within 10 meters from the receiver of the gate
or garage
- If the remote control is of type “Rolling code with automatic registration”
The receiver has automatic radio registration disabled (or not supported). Check with your
receiver manual how to proceed by following the instructions for cloning a new remote
control or email info@1control.it to get support
- If the remote control is of the “Rolling code with secret code” type and is a “FAAC” or
“GENIUS” brand
It is not a MASTER model but a SLAVE model. SLAVE remote controls cannot be copied. To
recognize the type of remote control, press the remote control button that opens the gate or
garage and check what kind of ash the LED is emitting:
> if it emits a short ash before switching on with a constant light it is a MASTER
> if it switches on immediately with a constant light, it is a SLAVE remote control and cannot
be copied.
