The front panel has 48 x 10/100/1000Base-T auto-negotiation ethernet ports
with RJ-45 connectors and 4 SFP combo ports. Each combo port corresponds
to an ethernet port, so there are 4 port pairs. Only 1 port in a pair can be used
at the same time.
■ Switch 5500G-EI 48 Port PWR — the Switch has a PoE power PSU. The rear
panel has two fixed fabric ports and one expansion module slot that is
compatible with the following modules:

The front panel has 24 x 1000Base-X SFP ports and 4 10/100/1000Base-T
auto-negotiation ethernet ports with RJ-45 connectors.

The Switch 5500G-EI 24 Port PWR and Switch 5500G-EI 48 Port PWR are capable
of supplying -48 VDC power to remote power devices. These switches use a
power over ethernet module to provide DC power to powered devices. When
delivering the AC input, the module can supply up to 300W. If more power is
needed, you can use the DC input or both AC and DC inputs to ensure that all
connected devices can operate.
The Switch 5500G-EI family supports the following services:
■ Internet broadband access
■ MAN (metropolitan area network), enterprise/campus networking
■ Multicast service, multicast routing, and audio and video multicast service.
