Consider whether the valve is connected to a booster pump or installed level with the water level in a tank, which could prevent proper sealing. Additionally, perform the steps for BASIC MAINTENANCE to address potential debris lodged in the seal or O-rings.

  If your A.R.I. Control Unit valve leaks from the threads, the issue could be a damaged O-ring or stripped plastic threads. Try replacing the Base O-ring and check for cross-threading. If the threads are stripped, replace the Base. You might also consider replacing it with a metal Base.

What outlet thread size do I need for A.R.I. S-050 to attach a vent/drain pipe?

  To determine the outlet thread size needed to attach a vent/drain pipe to your A.R.I. Control Unit, note that the available sizes are 1/2", 3/4", and 1". The S-050 model has a 1/8” female thread. Remember that the end of the pipe must be left open for the valve to function correctly.

How to fix a broken Discharge Outlet Elbow on A.R.I. S-050 Control Unit?

  If the Discharge Outlet Elbow on your A.R.I. Control Unit is broken because the valve was hit or mishandled, you can easily replace it. Gently pry off the broken Elbow with a screwdriver and pressure-insert the replacement part using a plastic hammer. You can order a replacement part from A.R.I. Note that this part is not mandatory for the valve's function.
