This document describes the Radio Wireless Optical Wheel Mouse, model RFSOP-35A, a wireless optical mouse designed for use with Windows operating systems. It offers a range of features for enhanced navigation and customization.
Function Description:
The Radio Wireless Optical Wheel Mouse is a pointing device that utilizes optical technology for precise tracking and wireless connectivity for freedom of movement. It features a vertical scroll wheel that also functions as a programmable third button, in addition to standard left and right mouse buttons. The mouse is designed to work with iWheelWorks software, providing compatibility with Microsoft IntelliMouse features and enabling scrolling in Windows 95/98/2000/NT.
A key feature of this mouse is its unique ID code system. Each mouse is assigned one of 255 possible ID codes at the factory. This ensures that the receiver only picks up the signal from your specific mouse, preventing interference from other RF-Mouse radio signals in the vicinity. This ID code feature can also be disabled if desired, allowing other RF-pointing devices to operate your computer. The ID code can be connected or changed through a dedicated utility, accessible via a keyboard shortcut ([Shift + Alt + F11] or [Shift + Alt + F12]).
The mouse supports scrolling and zooming functionalities. The scroll wheel allows for precise up and down movement in documents. For zooming, users can hold down the Ctrl key and move the wheel forward to zoom in or backward to zoom out in compatible applications like Microsoft Office 97/2000. The AutoScroll feature, assignable to a mouse button, enables automatic scrolling through large documents by simply moving the mouse in the desired direction, with scrolling speed dependent on pointer distance from the starting point.
