Functions
Direct connected meter (e.g. OD4165)
3 The energy consumption is shown in kWh
without a decimal place.
3.1 The LED, situated on the front of the electricity
meter , blinks with a frequency of 100 imp./kWh.
3.2 The load indicator rotates with load currents
over the start current of 25 mA.
3.3 The phase indicators L1, L2 and L3 indicate
that the respective phase voltage is connected.

Direct connected meter
Load indicator does not rotate
- The load current flowing through the electricity me-
ter is less that the start current (25 mA).
- The load current is flowing through the electricity
meter in the wrong direction. The polarity of the elec-
tricity meter connection is incorrect.

Pulse output
The ODIN-Meter possesses a pulse output that
generates pulses in proportion to the measured
energy for remote reading purposes. The pulse
output is a polarity dependant, passive transistor
output requiring an external voltage source for
correct operation. Connect as shown .
- The load current flowing through the electricity
meter is less than the start current (15 mA).
- The load current is flowing through the electricity
meter in the wrong direction. The polarity of the
electricity meter connection is incorrect or one or
more of the current transformers have been connec-
ted the wrong way around.
- The current transformer short circuit bars have not
been removed.
- One or more current transformers may be defect.
Direct connected meter and Transformer rated meter
Phase voltage indicator(s) L1, L2 or L3 is flashing
- No voltage is present on this phase.
No pulse output
- No or only very small amounts of energy are being
registered.
- The external pulse voltage source is missing or is
not as specified.
- The polarity of the pulse output connection is incorrect.
If the electrical energy meter has been programmed
with a current transformer ratio (Current transformer
connected meter only) the output pulses are gene-
