i1000SR System Quick Troubleshooting Guide

Remove fibrin clots from sample cup or tube with a
clean applicator stick.
Perform the appropriate as-needed maintenance
procedure:
9 6445 Pipettor/WZ Probe Cleaning
Replace the wash zone probe.
Replace the wash zone temperature tubing and
sensor.
Wash Zone Tubing and Probe Assembly
Touchscreen Monitor fails to respond
Cycle power to System Control Center (SCC) and to the
Processing module by performing the following:
Select F3-Shutdown on the Snapshot screen. A
confirmation message displays.
Select OK to confirm the shutdown.
Wait for the information window to display, and then
simultaneously press the CTRL+ALT+DELETE keys
on the keyboard. The Confirm Exit window displays.
Leave the Shutdown Computer option selected,
select OK, and then wait for the information window
to display.
Turn off the power to the processing module power
supply by moving the power switch down.
NOTE: The Module Power
Switch is located on the
back side of the Processing
Module.
If touch-screen connector is loose or disconnected,
reseat or reconnect the touch-screen connector.

[3] monitor video cable
Press the power switch on the front of the CPU to
turn on the SCC.
Wait for the Snapshot screen to display. It may
take several minutes to display.
Ensure the processing module(s) has been
powered off for one minute, then move the module
power supply power switch up to turn on power.

Locate the Central Processing
Unit (CPU).
NOTE: Open the card cage and
SCC center door to access the
power switch.
Press and hold the power switch
on the front of the CPU to turn off
power to the SCC.
NOTE: The SCC may power off
immediately, or it may take up to
10 seconds depending on the
type of SCC you have.
