How to solve common problems
IMPORTANT: The microwave oven may cause interference to your radio, TV or
similar appliances. If it does you can reduce or eliminate the interference by
moving the radio, TV or similar appliance as far away from the microwave as
possible.
If the oven does not work:
• Make sure the oven is plugged in securely. If not then push the plug fully in.
• Check that the mains fuse has not been tripped. If it has, reset the fuse.
• If the fuse has not been tripped, check that another appliance will work in the
socket. If the appliance does not work then the socket may be faulty.
• If the socket works, replace the 13 amp fuse in the microwaves plug.
If the microwave will not heat food:
• Check to ensure the timer has not been set.
• Ensure the door is securely closed. If the door is not fully shut the microwave
will not operate, this is a safety feature.
• Check the child lock is not in operation.
