• Liquid or other food must not be heated in sealed
containers since they are liable to explode.
• Leave a minimum of 30cm (12 inches) above the oven.
NEVER place items on top of the oven as this will block the
vents.
• Only use thermometers that are approved for use in
microwave ovens.
• Failure to keep the oven in a clean condition could lead to
deterioration in the interior surface of the microwave. This
could seriously affect the life of the appliance and possibly
result in a hazardous condition.
• The oven shall be regularly cleaned to remove any food.
• Do not cover ventilation on top of the microwave outer
casing can get extremely hot.
• If the supply (power) cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• If smoke is emitted, switch off or unplug the appliance and
keep the door closed in order to stifle any flames.
• Do not use the oven for any reason other than preparing
food, such as for drying clothes, paper or any other non-
food items, or for sterilizing purposes.
• Do not use the oven when it is empty. This could damage
the oven.
