Improper installation may cause false alarms and incur costs from emergency service deployment.
Mount on ceiling center (15cm from walls/corners) or wall (15cm from ceiling, 90cm from roof ridge in attics).
Avoid temperature fluctuations, draughts, steam, humidity, dust, high roof points, heaters, or near floor.
Replace 9V battery approximately every 24 months. Detector provides a ~30-day warning before depletion.
