5. Then enter the current date (date of
installation) on the rear label of the
alarm with a water- and smudge-
proof pen (see adjacent figure).
E.g. 09|05|2014
6. Mount the smoke alarm device to the
detector base by turning it clockwise.
7. Insert safety pin into the housing
opening provided for this purpose to
prevent the detector from rotating
(see figures below).
