Failure to follow the instructions for selection of a location and
installation may result in risk of injury, e.g. from smoke alarm
devices falling down.

Start-up
 The test key now has to be pressed for at least three
seconds until the red signal LED lights up, and then
released again within two seconds. The detector emits a
signal tone when it has been activated successfully and is
therefore ready for operation.
Normal state
In the Normal state, the red control LED under the housing cover blinks
every 40 seconds and signals that the detector is ready for operation.
