Gebruiksbereik en toepassing
Gebruik uitsluitend voor volwassenen!
• Het product kan met behulp van een magneet aan kleding worden bevestigd. Zorg er altijd voor dat het product goed vastzit
en er bij bewegingen niet afvalt. Bevestig het product zodanig dat de reflecterende zijde duidelijk zichtbaar is.
• Reflecterend materiaal van hoge kwaliteit maakt u beter zichtbaar, zowel bij daglicht als in het donker door koplampen.
• Activeer het licht door op het ABUS logo te drukken: 1. Knipperen, 2. Branden, 3. Uit.
• Het product mag niet worden afgedekt om de zichtbaarheid te behouden.
• Het product is waterafstotend, maar mag niet in water worden ondergedompeld.
• Bewaar het product op een droge en donkere plek wanneer het niet in gebruik is.
• Het product mag alleen worden gebruikt voor het doel waarvoor het is bestemd. Elke wijziging aan het product is verboden.
• Voor een beter zicht rondom raden wij aan telkens één product aan de rechterkant en één aan de linkerkant van het lichaam
te dragen.
• Laad het product op wanneer het lampje niet meer brandt wanneer u erop drukt. Tijdens het opladen knippert het
indicatielampje rood. Als het volledig is opgeladen, brandt het indicatielampje groen.
• Het led-licht vervangt niet de voorgeschreven verlichtingsuitrusting op fietsen.
Het product vervangt geen enkele toezichtplicht. Houd altijd toezicht op kinderen! Houd kleine onderdelen en verpakkings-
materiaal uit de buurt van kinderen: Verstikkingsgevaar! Niet gebruiken als speelgoed!
Verzorging en levenscyclus
Als het reflecterende oppervlak beschadigd is, is de signaalwerking niet langer gegarandeerd. Dit geldt ook als het product vuil is of
als de fluorescerende kleur verbleekt is. Reinig het product niet onder stromend water of in de wasmachine. Vervang een beschadigd
product.
Batterij-instructies
Dit product bevat een lithium-polymeer-accu (3,7 V / 200 mAh). Permanent geïnstalleerde accu‘s mogen alleen door gekwali-
ceerd personeel worden vervangen of verwijderd. Laad het product niet op en gebruik het niet in omgevingen met explosie-
gevaar, bijv. ontvlambare vloeistoen, gassen of stof. Verbrand het product nooit! De accu kan in vuur exploderen. Bovendien
ontstaan daardoor giige stoen. Gebruik voor het opladen uitsluitendeen geschikte standaard Micro-USB-B oplaadkabel in
combinatie met een geschikte lader (voeding 5V DC)! Laat het product tijdens het opladen niet onbeheerd achter! Bewaar
en gebruik het product niet in omgevingen waarin temperaturen lager dan 0°C of hoger dan +40°C kunnen heersen. Stel het
product niet gedurende langere tijd bloot aan zonnestralen!
Voorzichtig bij het gebruik van de magneet
Kleine kinderen mogen nooit met magneten spelen. Kinderen kunnen magneten in hun mond stoppen en doorslikken. Dit kan
ernstige gevolgen hebben voor de gezondheid. Neem in dergelijke gevallen direct contact op met een arts! Creditcards of bank-
pasjes met magneetstrook kunnen worden beschadigd. Voor personen met pacemaker, debrillator of andere geïmplanteerde
apparaten geldt: de magneet kan een negatief eect hebben op dergelijke hulpmiddelen, houd daarom voldoende afstand (ca.
20 cm) tussen de magneet en het geïmplanteerde hulpmiddel.

Afvoer
Dit product bevat waardevolle grondstoen. Voer het product aan het einde van de levensduur af volgens de geldende
wettelijke bepalingen. Elektrische apparaten, oplaadbare accu‘s en batterijen mogen niet met het huisvuil worden
weggegooid. Afvoer en verdere verwerking moet gebeuren in overeenstemming met Richtlijn 2012/19/EU betreende
afgedankte elektrische en elektronische apparatuur (WEEE) of volgens Richtlijn 2006/66/EG inzake batterijen en accu‘s,
alsmede afgedankte batterijen en accu‘s. Neem bij vragen contact op met de gemeente die verantwoordelijk is voor de
afvalverwijdering. Informatie over inzamelpunten voor uw oude apparaten kunt u bijvoorbeeld krijgen bij het plaatselijke
gemeente- of stadsbestuur, de plaatselijke afvalverwerkingsbedrijven of bij uw vakdealer.
Voer de verpakking gesorteerd af. Karton behoort bij het oud papier, folies en plastic onderdelen bij de recyclebare materialen.
Garantie
ABUS producten zijn met de grootste zorgvuldigheid ontworpen, geproduceerd en op basis van de geldende voorschrien
getest. De garantie hee uitsluitend betrekking op gebreken die op materiaal- of fabrieksfouten duiden op het moment van
verkoop. Bij bewijs van een materiaal- of fabrieksfout wordt de product na beoordeling van de garantiegever gerepareerd of
vervangen. De garantie eindigt in dit geval met het aopen van de oorspronkelijke garantieperiode. Verdergaande aanspraken
zijn uitdrukkelijk uitgesloten.
ABUS is niet aansprakelijk voor gebreken en schade die zijn veroorzaakt door inwerkingen van buitenaf (bijvoorbeeld door
transport, inwerking van geweld), onjuist gebruik, normale slijtage of het niet in acht nemen van deze handleiding. Bij het
indienen van een garantieclaim moet bij de product het originele aankoopbewijs met datum van de aankoop en een korte
schrielijke beschrijving van de fout worden gevoegd.

Possible uses
For use by adults only!
• The product can be attached to clothing by means of a magnet. Always make sure that the product is securely
attached and that it does not fall down when moving. Attach the product so that the reflective side is clearly visible.
• High-quality reflective material makes you more visible in daylight as well as in headlights in the dark.
• Activate the light by pressing on the ABUS logo: 1. Flashing, 2. Lights, 3. Off.
• The product should not be covered, in order to maintain visibility.
• The product is water-repellent, but must not be immersed in water.
• Store product in a dry and dark place when not in use.
• The product may only be used for its intended purpose. Any modification to the product is prohibited.
• For better all-round visibility, we recommend that one product is worn on the right side of the body and one on the left.
• Charge the product when the light no longer lights up when pressed. During charging, the indicator light flashes red.
When it is fully charged, the indicator light turns green.
• The LED does not replace the prescribed lighting equipment on bicycles.
The product does not replace any duties of supervision. Always supervise children! Keep small parts and packaging
material away from children: Danger of suffocation! Do not use as a toy!
Maintenance and life cycle
If the reflective surface is damaged, signalling is no longer guaranteed. This also applies if the product is dirty or if the
fluorescent colour is too faded. Do not clean the product under running water or in the washing machine. Replace damaged
products.
Battery instructions
This product contains a built-in lithium polymer battery (3,7 V / 200 mAh). Built-in rechargeable batteries may only be
replaced or removed by qualified personnel. Do not charge or use the product in environments where there is a risk of
explosion, e.g. from flammable liquids, gases or dust. Never burn the product! The battery could explode in the fire. This
would also release toxic substances. Only use a suitable standard micro USB B charging cable in conjunction with a suitable
charger (5V DC power supply unit) for charging!
Do not leave the product unattended while it is charging!. Do not use or store the product in areas where the temperature
could reach below 0°C or above +40°C. Do not expose the product to direct sunlight for long periods of time
Be careful when using magnets!
Magnets must not get into the hands of children. Children could put magnets in their mouths and swallow them. This can
cause serious harm to their health. Seek immediate medical attention in this event! Credit or EC cards with magnetic strips
can be damaged.
If you have a pacemaker, debrillator or any other implanted devices, please bear the following information in mind: The
magnet can have a negative eect on such devices, so keep a sucient distance (approx. 20 cm) between the magnet and
the implanted device.

Disposal
This product contains valuable raw materials. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with the
applicable legal requirements.
Electrical appliances, rechargeable batteries and batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. Disposal must
be carried out in accordance with Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), or Directive
2006/66/EC on batteries and accumulators and waste batteries and accumulators.

Warranty
ABUS products are designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with applicable regulations with great care. The war-
ranty exclusively covers faults that are caused by material or manufacturing defects. If a material or manufacturing defect
can be proven, the product will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of the warrantor. In such cases, the warranty ends
with the termination of the original warranty period. Any further claims are expressly excluded.
ABUS assumes no liability for defects or damage that has been caused by external inuences (e.g. transport, external forc-
es), improper use, normal wear and tear or non-compliance with this operating and installation instructions document.
If a warranty claim is asserted, the product must be returned with the original receipt with date of purchase and a brief
written description of the fault.
