Mainboard Removal 0
Prerequisite:
LCD Module Removal and
WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) Module Removal
1. Find the mainboard (D) on the top assembly. Refer to Figure 1-8.
2. Remove the adhesive tape (I) from the keyboard connector (Figure 1-17).

3. Disconnect the 30-pin USB board FPC from the mainboard connector (B). Refer to
Figure 1-18.
4. Disconnect the 40-pin USB board FPC from the mainboard connector (C). Refer to
Figure 1-18.
5. Disconnect the second camera module cable from the mainboard connector (E). Refer
to Figure 1-18.
6. Disconnect the keyboard FPC from the mainboard connector (A). Refer to
Figure 1-18.
7. Disconnect the touchpad FPC from the mainboard connector (F). Refer to Figure 1-18.
8. Disconnect the speaker cable from the mainboard connector (G). Refer to
Figure 1-18.
Make sure all cables and FPCs are disconnected from the connectors on the
mainboard to avoid damage during removal.
