8. Remove the mainboard from the top assembly (Figure 1-27).

USB board FFCs (Flexible Flat Circuit), touchpad FFC, keyboard FPC (Flexible
Printed Circuits), and speaker cable can be damaged if removed while the
mainboard connectors are locked.

Circuit boards have been highlighted with yellow rectangles as shown in
Figure 1-28. Remove the circuit boards and follow local regulations for
disposal.
