4. Carefully lift the bottom of the keyboard to release it from the top assembly
(Figure 1-49). The upper latches will automatically disengage as you release the
keyboard.

Avoid damaging the keyboard FPC when removing the keyboard from the
top assembly.
5. Carefully remove the keyboard from the top assembly (Figure 1-50).
