MultiControl Mono
Ver. 1.1
33
Connection of the pump:
Terminals L1, L2, and L3 of the pump are installed directly at the motor contactor. The earth wire is connected
to the remaining PE terminal. The bimetal contact that enables the pump again once it has cooled down is
connected to terminal 20/21 and the bimetal contact that does not enable the pump until after
acknowledgement is connected to terminal 21/22 on the top printed circuit board (if temperature 1 is not
connected, thermal fault 1 must be disabled in the menu).
To operate 1 ~ motors (230 V AC), a jumper must be installed between input terminal L1 and L2, and
between N and L3.
Power supply to the pumps (1~)
The pump is connected at contactor T2 = L and T3 = N
As the power is measured via T2, the motor must be connected at this terminal.
Thermal motor protection switches
Controller contact Temp 1/terminal 20/21
The pump is automatically enabled after cooling.
Limiter contact Temp 2/terminal 21/22
The pump is not enabled until the Acknowledge button has been pressed
If temp. 1 is not used, the function must be disabled in the menu (see above Chapter 4.2).
If temp. 2 is not used, a wire jumper from terminal 21 to 22 must be used.
In the case of pumps where the bimetal contact is switched so that it interrupts the power to the pump directly,
the message “No load” is displayed when the bimetal contact has tripped.
The pump cannot be started up again until after acknowledgement.
